Description
The most easy and convenient Draeger X-am 8000 multi-gas detector available today. At the same time, the Dräger X-am 8000 measures up to seven gases, including toxic gases, flammable gases and oxygen vapors – either in pump mode or in diffused air mode. Innovative signal design and handy assistant function ensure complete safety during the procedure
Product information:
Specially designed for use with internal pumps, optimized for the requirements
The Draeger X-am® 8000 is equipped with a large capacity pump and is connected to hoses up to 45 meters long. The user can easily switch between diffused air intake and pump mode at any time. This helps the pump operate only when absolutely necessary, which saves energy, reduces wear and tear, and prolongs the life of the pump.
It only takes 1 hand to operate the Draeger X-am® 8000 with 3 function keys. Easy-to-read color display clearly shows all information. The included sturdy shoulder strap helps carry the X-am 8000 on the go. Thanks to its compact and durable construction, it can withstand even the harshest conditions.
Fast and economical management
Bumptest and calibration are performed simply and quickly using the Draeger X-dock® calibration. Low test gas consumption keeps operating costs to a minimum.
Reporting functions and many other useful features make the intelligent X-dock Manager PC software a quick operation management system. To identify devices in a snap, users can try the built-in barcode or RFID decoder
Specialized for high and low hydrocarbon concentrations
The Draeger X-am 8000 measures difficult-to-detect hydrocarbon concentrations with one of two high-performance PID sensors. The PID HC covers the measurement range from 0 to 2,000 ppm (Isobutene). PID LC ppb is particularly suitable for measuring ranges from 0 to 10 ppm (Isobutene) with resolutions in the range of less than 1 ppm.
For specific benzene measurements, the X-am 8000 can be used with a pre-tube. Advantages: users only need one measuring device for this application, greatly reducing the cost of purchasing, maintaining and transporting used equipment. The use of the front tubes is supported by a built-in assistant
Clearance multi-gas detector for quick results
The X-am 8000 efficiently supports various applications with specially developed assistant functions to guide you through the process step by step. For example, in a clearance measurement, the smart assistant calculates the required time flow for the device and probe (FKM tube) based on parameters such as gas measurement, temperature limit and specified pipe length.
When monitoring high methane concentrations, a configurable automatic measuring range switch makes readings easier: if the Cat-Ex sensor measures values above 100% of the LEL, the display will shift to about 0 to 100 vol%
Wear-resistant inductive charging
Inductive charging makes operation easier and increases the life of the device. The problem of corrosion in the charging base has been improved, we can charge and use it (Outside of explosive hazardous areas) at the same time, for example in a vehicle or in a machine
Charging docks can be connected to each other with minimal contact, X-am 8000 can be compatible with current charging dock models
Clear warning design
The signaling system of the Drager X-am 8000 multi-detector is based on specific color codes:
Red light – gas warning
Yellow light – device warning, e.g. low battery power
Green light – device ready to use
The green light of the D lamp allows you to see from a distance, indicating that the device has been properly tested and ready for use.
When alarmed, the X-am 8000 will alert with leds, vibration mode and sound intensity of 100 dB(A) within a distance of 30 cm. The user selectable preset of four hazard symbols are available for the display to clearly show the presence of explosive or toxic gas hazards, This allows the user to easily recognize the type of hazard. dangerous to the displayed icon
The X-am 8000 is equipped with a shock detection system. The event report sheet indicates whenever severe mechanical impacts occur that could result in impaired function of the device or sensor. This document will be saved in the machine’s data logger
