Description
Air quality in the working environment (Factory, workshop, laboratory…) is one of the dangerous factors that directly affect the health of workers and production efficiency. However, some harmful gases such as VOCs: Acetone (C3H6O), Benzene (C 6 H 6 ), Toluene ( C 7 H 8 ) … are volatile or have not been measured by gas sensors.
The Draeger Tubes Pump Accuro is a quick one-handed gas metering solution with one pump. The machine is compact, suitable for use in harsh conditions and the risk of fire and explosion.
The Dräger Tubes Pump Accuro Gas Meter, made in Germany, is the ideal measure for personal protection, area monitoring, pre-access to confined spaces such as wells, channels or tanks.
Advantages of the Dräger Tubes Pump Accuro Gas Meter:
– For fast measurement results, high durability and accuracy, low maintenance, easy to use
– There are more than 220 types of tubes and more than 500 different toxic gases can be measured, especially VOCs – volatile organic substances.
– No need to use input power
– Can be used in harsh and explosive environments
– Application in most industries, laboratories, measurement testing…
Technical Information Dräger Tubes Pump Accuro
The Dräger Tubes Pump Accuro consists of two main components: the Dräger Tubes and the Dräger suction pump.
+ Structure tube
- Tube head
- Indicators on the tube for measurement
- Inside contains reagent gas
- The end of the pipe (the part in contact with the air pump)
+ Construction of the meter
- Gas index meter
- Place of contact with Tube
- Check whether the measurement is successful or not (When the amount of gas passes through the sample, the white part appears, when the gas does not pass through the white part, it will appear black)
- Built-in ceramic knife for opening tube
- Handle
- Air blower and compressor
The principle of operation of the Toxic Gas Meter Dräger Tubes Pump Accuro.
+ When the air volume of the pump is compressed and air is drawn into the Tube from the Dräger-Tube pump (load 100 ml per pump). The pump body (bellow) is then fully pressed together. The relief valve is closed during the opening phase of the bellows so that the gas sample flows through the connected Dräger-Tube into the pump. After fully opening the pump body to the original position, the suction is finished. End of stroke is visible by the pressure controlled end of stroke indicator, located at the pump head. The gas is then introduced and reacts with the reagent in the tube leading to a reaction that changes the color of the reagent.
+ The whole measurement process only takes 1 minute
User manual
Step 1: Check the Tube: Before using the Dräger Tubes Pump Accuro , the user needs to carefully check the tube for leaks or not.
+ Bring the end of the tube (direct the black arrow of the tube towards the mounting pipe of the air pump)
+ Check by gently squeezing the handle to the compressor and air pump. If the indicator on the machine does not appear, the air pump is not leaking
Step 2: Open the 2 ends of the Tube with the built-in ceramic blade on the air pump
Step 3: Proceed to install the end of the hose to the air pump (Turn it slightly to the right so that the hose and the air pump are tightly connected)
Step 4: Gently squeeze the handle to pump compressed air and pump air into the tube part
Step 5: After the air pump sucks and compresses the air into the Tube, the reagent part will change color depending on the air quality as well as the gas composition that the user wants to measure.
*Note:
- Standard measuring range: 2 to 30 ppm
- 100ml/pump
- Number of swipes n: 5
- Measurement time: 1 minute
- Standard Deviation: ±10 to 15%
