Salient features
Endurance, smart and responsive
With its advanced electrochemical sensor, the Polytron 5100 can detect more than 100 toxic gases and oxygen. The sensor endures continuously even in the harshest of conditions with a temperature range spanning from -40 degrees Celsius to 65 degrees Celsius. The memory contains all necessary configuration and calibration information. Highly sensitive and widely dispersed sensor enables quick response when detecting a fire source
Same design, same operating principle
The Polytron 5100 belongs to the Polytron 5000 series so it has the same design and interface, which allows for synchronous operation and reduces maintenance and training costs. Lights display information clearly and quickly connect functions. Gas concentration and unit of measurement displayed during operation, green, yellow and red LEDs provide additional status and alarm information
Three relays for external device control
The Draeger Polytron 5100 can provide 3 synchronous relays based on requirements. This allows us to use it as a standalone gas detection system with two adjustable gas concentration alarms and one fault alarm. Audible alarms, signal lights or similar devices can therefore be controlled locally without the need for additional cables between the transmitter and the central control unit.
Safe, effective for every application
Polytron 5100 has class I, Div. Made from explosion-proof aluminum or stainless steel suitable for environmental conditions. The protective “E” type version includes a convenient outlet allowing installation in hazardous environments without running a conduit (when approved).
